Park Dene is a lovely Victorian Accommodation located on the West Cliff of Whitby, perfect for a weekend retreat, midweek break or holiday.
Our home has been lovingly renovated throughout to a very high standard, maintaining lots of its period features to which we are very proud. Lots of thought and effort has gone into the renovation of every room at Park Dene and are individually styled and well equipped to ensure ultimate relaxation and comfort during your stay. We look forward to welcoming friends both new and old to Park Dene.
Location.....
Located in Whitby, close to all amenities, Whitby Museum and Captain Cook Memorial Museum. Situated within 1.1 miles of the Abbey and 0.6 miles to the town. Only 0.4 miles of the Pavillion, This is our guests’ favourite part of Whitby, according to independent reviews. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.3 for a two-person trip.
Park Dene is a short walk from the sea and Whitby sands. Approximately 100 metres you can access the cliff lift, taking you to the beautiful blue flag beach. A short distance you will find Whitby Pavilion and Theatre. A 10/15 minute walk will take you to the harbour, train station, main shopping area and Whitby’s many pubs and restaurants. A walk over the swing bridge and along the cobble streets and you will find the 199 steps which will take you to Whitby Abbey.
In close proximity is Whitby golf course, football and cricket grounds, bowling green and leisure centre and indoor swimming pool. A few minutes’ walk will take you to Pannett Park and Art Gallery

Great room with all the mod cons . Vey clean and spacious. Good location . Cake on arrival well stocked mini bar.

What a lovely place to stay. Such a beautiful room (Evie)and in a great location just a stones throw from the beach and a short walk to the town centre. We stayed for the Easter weekend for 3 nights and it just felt like home from home. The hosts were very attentive and the room was spotless. We were also offered some lovely cake on arrival which was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it helped having such a nice room to come back too when all the partying was done. Would definitely recommend ***** Lou n Graham x

Really lovely room with roll top bath, living area and fitted wardrobes - excellent! 🙂 They even picked us up from near station as we got lost. They were fab and place was fab too. Went for the goth weekend and loved it. Taxi was £7 but you could walk if able - about 15-20 mins.
